Party Poker, who shares their network and software with Borgata Poker, has put out a great product with their New Jersey poker software.

While still low on overall users after a month, they have great cash games, sit & go’s, and MTT’s; and their player pool is growing fast.  They also host an ample amount of freerolls, satellites, and promotions to take advantage of.

Below is a detailed review of Party Poker, a video review of the software and interface, as well as a bonus code you can use when signing up.

Bonuses, Promotions, and Points

With the bonus code NJPARTY you will get 100% deposit bonus on any amount you deposit, up to $100.  You also will get a free $15 instant cash to play with upon signup.
They also have refer a friend bonuses, casino jackpots, and missions/achievements.

Cash Games
Games offered right now are No limit Holdem, Fixed limit Holdem, Pot limit Omaha, and 7 card stud. The games range from $.02/$.04 blinds, to $25/$50.

Currently, there is good action at the No Limit Holdem tables at most of the stakes up to $2/$4, but little action at the highest stakes. These games seem to be growing fast as more players signup.

Sit and Go’s
Wide range of sit and go’s, from $ 0.10 buyins all the way to $1,000 buyins.

They also offer satellite sit and gos, and qualifiers to their larger tournaments, Borgata live tournaments, and even “step” satellites to WSOP events.

Multi Table Tournaments
Party Poker runs tournaments of all buyins every hour, although most right now are without a guarantee, and are under the $10 range.

However they do host a few daily majors, and Sunday majors at the moment, that offer up to 50k guaranteed.  They also have other majors that are coming soon.

Here is a list of the ‘majors’ that they run currently, as well as the majors that are coming soon:

Sunday 50k  |  $50,000 Guaranteed  |  Buyin $200  |  Sunday 7:30 PM

They have a number of other $500 Guaranteed – $2,000 Guaranteed tournaments throughout the day.

They also have satellites and free rolls into their majors, live events, and even WSOP and WPT events.

Software & User Experience

In regards to user experience and software, Party Poker has raised the bar for the other competing sites by having top-notch, smooth and visually pleasing software.

They also have introduced a ‘social network’ element to the game.  Similar to Facebook features, you can ‘friend’ other players and see how they have been doing on your ‘activity feed’.  You can also private message other players and post messages.

Another cool element to their software is their ‘missions & achievements’ section.  They have missions that upon completion, earn you achievements and rewards.  These rewards vary from tournament buyins, points, freerolls, etc.

Currently, ~6 weeks into being up and running, the games are still a bit small for some player’s liking, but this seems to be changing and growing fast.
There are still a lot of complications with IP detection, and many players that are playing in New Jersey are being kicked offline with the following error message:

Party Poker Error Message

They do offer a free piece of hardware that they will mail to you that fixes this issue, and they have taken other steps to correct the issue and it is continuing to get better.  This is an area however that has been very frustrating for many players.
