New Jersey July iGaming Numbers

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE) has release their revenue numbers for July which shows growth with both a year-on-year and month-on-month basis. You can see their press release by clicking this link.


The final numbers total to $12.5 million, which represents an increase of 24.4% on the $10.1 million in July of 2014. It’s also a jump from the $11.7 million posted in June of this year.

Total online gaming numbers for the year-to-date is now at $84.5 million, and increase of 15.6% on the $73.1 million at the same point in 2014.

Borgata, PartyPoker and Pala Interactive continue to lead in New Jersey with revenue of $3.8 million in July, up from $3.2 million last year.

NJ Online Poker Still Lagging

Online poker in New Jersey continues to struggle posting a $1.8 million in revenue compared to 2.1 million a year ago which represents a decrease of 12.2%. However, when comparing the July online poker numbers to last month, it was up slightly by $50,109.

Total gaming revenue for New Jersey, comprising online and land-based activities, amounted to $257.5 million in July, up 8.1% from $238.3 million last year.

For the year to date, the state’s total gaming numbers are at $1.5 billion, down 9.4% in the $1.6 billion posted last year.

However, taking into account the closure of four casinos since then in that time, this July’s figure instead represents year-on-year growth of 4.8%.
