Update: Rumored to be the big reason for Betfair’s slow start is the soon to be closing of Trump Plaza’s brick and mortar casino in Atlantic City. Trump Plaza is the casino that Betfair has teamed up with in order to launch their online poker product. If in fact Trump Plaza closes down come September 2014, Betfair will have to find another NJ casino to team up with in order to stay in New Jersey.

There is still not much activity on Betfair Poker. We have tried contacting Betfair Poker on the matter, to see when they plan on launching more real money games and marketing campaigns with player promotions, but are still awaiting a response.
It is still very early in the NJ online poker industry, and given a little more time Betfair Online Poker could very well be a major player in the NJ poker scene. They have a long history of online gambling software that is trusted and well received, and we expect in a short time they will put out a solid product into the NJ online poker world.
Trump Plaza and Betfair Poker have teamed up tp release their NJ online poker product, and although the software seems to function well, the players have still not come. This expects to change soon, but as of now there are hardly any games available.
